Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Nepkart at nepkart.com, whether you buy, sell or simply browse. By using the site you agree to them.
1. The marketplace
Nepkart is a platform where independent sellers list and sell their own products. Each purchase is a contract between you and the seller; Nepkart provides the storefront, checkout, payment collection and messaging tools, and mediates disputes in good faith.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 to open an account, provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything done under your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.
3. Buying
Prices are shown in Nepali rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. An order is confirmed when the seller accepts it. Delivery times, returns and refunds follow the policy shown on the seller's shop page, subject to Nepali consumer protection law.
4. Selling
Sellers must own or be authorised to sell what they list, describe products truthfully, honour confirmed orders, and pay the commission and fees shown in their plan. Sellers are responsible for their own tax and legal compliance.
5. Social Inbox and connected channels
Sellers may connect their Facebook Page, Instagram account, WhatsApp Business number, email mailbox or a website chat widget to Nepkart. By connecting a channel a seller confirms they are authorised to act for that account and agrees to use it in line with Meta's Platform Terms, the WhatsApp Business Policy and applicable law — in particular to obtain any consent needed before messaging customers, and not to send spam. Sellers are responsible for the content of their replies and for their staff's use of the inbox.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Nepkart to sell illegal or counterfeit goods, harass anyone, scrape the site, interfere with its security, or misrepresent who you are.
7. Content
You keep ownership of what you upload but grant Nepkart a licence to display it for the purpose of running the marketplace. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
8. Liability
Nepkart is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses, or for the acts of sellers, buyers or third-party providers. Nothing here limits rights you have under Nepali consumer law.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. You may close your account at any time. Outstanding orders and payouts are settled first.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal and any dispute is subject to the courts of Kathmandu.
